A consortium led by Locality, which includes the Community Development Foundation (CDF), has been awarded a contract by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to provide a new neighbourhood planning support programme.

Locality co-ordinates direct support to give expert advice to help in the various stages of a neighbourhood plan. Support is provided by Planning Aid England and advice is given by qualified planners. Their work may be supplemented by community engagement specialists.
